Dimensionally accurate hard surface using photogrammetry

This is a project I have been slowly chipping away at. I have been developing a workflow for building complete cars using photogrammetry as reference. One advantage to this approach, I can model many pieces independently and be confident that bolt holes and other major features will be aligned when assembled.

The control arm pictured is a model built in max using the photogrammetry mesh as reference. There is a mix of retopo, manual modeling, and sculpting for the final result. I am able to check critical dimensions with calipers and the accuracy level is very high.
